So it came down to the rocker and the dark horse. And many people thought that it was gonna be Adam who would crowned American Idol 2009 as he would win it hands down because of his popularity. But America is getting less predictable by the day; they are making different choices than you normally expect them to.(Electing an African American president for starters) The competition was not one of the toughest ever if you’d ask me coz maybe even I thought Adam Lambert was gonna win bcoz I liked him more than Kris, but I guess America had already been hinting otherwise since the last couple of weeks before the finals. Kris was the one who was in the top 3 with the maximum number of votes; and the difference between him and Adam during the top 3 when Danny Gokey got eliminated was 1 million votes if im not mistaken. Guess America wants the usual mellow -ballad-singing-pop singer as their idol. Either they are bored of rock or maybe Adam’s sexual preferences just let the girls down and...

Whoa baby! Has America found a rocker or what through AI-8??Adam Lambert has got it all-the looks, the voice, the hair, the style….all in all a very hot package. Hardly ever can you see him without his trademark black nail polish(yeah,im not kidding) & Iv gotta admit, Lambert is the first GUY on this planet I can not only accept that with, but also love to see nail polish on; and I actually miss it when he’s not wearing it!! And about the singing, I guess his theatrical music background helps, but really,this guy has some crazy talent. He literally sticks his tongue out when he hits the high note(and boy can he hit that well)and its wonderful to hear him scream it like that.
